For the deserving...wine-awards

There are a variety of awards that can be used to recognise service to the Wine and Food Society of Victoria. These awards can be given to members and non members

A Certificate of Meritorious Service can be awarded to a member of the Society in recognition of the member’s outstanding service or contribution to the general standing, welfare or advancement of the Society

N. Tranter is the most recent member to earn this award.

A Certificate of Merit can also be awarded to a non member in recognition for an outstanding function or service in contribution to the general standing, welfare or advancement of the Society

Honorary membership of the Society can be awarded to non members too for outstanding service to the Society. This can be for a period up to a year.

For a member the most prestigious award is Life Membership of the Society. Last December 2010, Nick Galante was awarded Life Membership for outstanding and distinguished service. He joins our other current life members :
